What is the papaya leaf?
The papaya leaf (Carica papaya L.) has been used as an important medicinal plant for hundreds of years. Indigenous people would boil the leaves of the papaya, and drink this as a tea, to help improve numerous aliments. Only recently has modern science been able to confirm these ancient beliefs, with clinical trials and scientific studies exploring the medicinal properties of the papaya leaf and identification of its bioactive compounds.
What makes the papaya leaf so special?
Papaya leaves contain several important phytochemical
compounds including flavonoids, alkaloids, tannins, and quinones, which may collectively contribute towards its biological activities. In addition to the abundance of phenolic compounds with antioxidant properties, the alkaloid carpaine was reported to be a major contributor towards its benefits.
What are the benefits of fermentation?
Prior to our 30:1 ratio extraction process, our papaya leafs undergo a 96-hour fermentation, which has multiple benefits.
Research shows that fermentation increases the amount of beneficial micro-organisms and bioactive substances, such as the phytochemical compounds naturally found in papaya leaf, which includes flavonoids, alkaloids, tannins, and quinones

As per FDA requirements, in order to claim gluten free status, the product must contain less than 20 parts per million (ppm) of gluten.

Our facility does produce products that contain gluten, however, through proper sourcing, cleaning, storage, production, and testing protocols (like the lab tests mentioned above), we are able to keep our product safe and gluten free.

There is a bit of powder separation in the capsule - is this normal?
The total empty size inside each capsule is large enough to contain 680mg.
We put 500mg of Fermented Papaya Leaf Extract inside each capsule.
We don't use any fillers, binders, or excipients, as we want to keep our product as natural and pure as possible.
Depending on the natural settling of the powder, there may be some some powder separation or empty space inside the capsule, which would be normal.
What should my supplements smell like?
We at CellFend try to keep our products as pure and natural as possible.
As such, we don't use coating, dilutions, or masking agents to conceal the smell or taste.
So if your bottle has a bit of a funny smell to it, then don't worry! It's natural...
What are the capsules made of?
Our capsules are made of glutinous rice starch, which is gluten free.
The name "glutinous" is misleading, as it's actually gluten free.
The name simply comes from the consistency of that rice varietal when cooked.
Our capsules are also vegan (many non-vegan capsules contain gelatin, which is an animal byproduct).
How much should I take and when should I take it?
Each capsule is 500mg.
One serving is equal to 2 capsules (1,000mg).
Take one serving (2 capsules) once a day with food, in the morning, or as directed by your health care professional.

When will I be billed?

You will be billed immediately upon purchase.
Monthly 'pay-as-you-go' Subscription Plans:
You will be billed immediately upon purchase for your first months' supply. For subsequent months' supplies, you will automatically be billed at
the beginning of every month (unless cancelled).
Quarterly, Semi-Annual, and Annual Prepaid Subscription Plans:
You will be billed immediately upon purchase of the plan. Your plan will automatically renew at the end of your subscription period, at which point, you will automatically be billed for the next cycle (unless
cancelled).
How does the monthly subscription plan work?
With a monthly 'pay-as-you-go' subscription, you can sign up for
monthly deliveries, so you don't have to worry about ordering every month.
You will pay upfront for whichever plan you choose (3, 6, or 12 months).
For instance, if you choose a 3 month plan, then you will be billed for all 3 months upfront.
You will receive a discount on your cost per bottle by signing up for this subscription service, even though you're still only paying for 1 month at a time.
Your bottles will be shipped to you monthly.
Your monthly 'pay-as-you-go' subscription will renew automatically at the end of each month (unless you cancel).
How do the prepaid subscription plans work?
With a prepaid plan, you can sign up for monthly deliveries for a period of 3, 6, or 12 months.
You will pay upfront for whichever plan you choose (3, 6, or 12 months).
For instance, if you choose a 3 month plan, then you will be billed for all 3 months upfront.
You will receive a significant discount on your cost per bottle by paying upfront.
Your bottles will be shipped to you monthly.
Your prepaid plan will renew automatically at the end of the 3, 6, or 12 month period.
We will remind you of this renewal 30 days prior by email.
How do I cancel my subscription?
You can cancel the renewal of your subscription at any time by contacting us by email at sales@cellfend.com.
You will not receive a refund for the fees you already paid for your
current subscription period and you will continue to receive products ordered until the end of your current subscription period.
The pricing of our quarterly, semi-annual, and annual plans offers a savings to customers who commit to a longer-term subscription. The longer the
commitment, the greater the savings.
These prepaid subscriptions
are considered final sale, so if you cancel in the middle of your plan,
then you will continue to receive the remaining bottles throughout the duration of your plan, and the cancellation will take effect at the end of your plan before renewal.
