CellFend - Fermented Wheat Germ Extract

I ran competitive track in high school and college, and for the past 20 years, I have been finely attuned to my body and what I put inside of it.

I’m very interested in anti-aging (who isn't!) and am always researching the newest science.  I learned about autophagy (cellular recycling) and wanted to figure out how to induce it beyond the benefits of prolonged fasting. 

Organic compounds known as polyamines (spermidine is a principal polyamine) are potent autophagy inducers.  So I looked into foods/supplements that contain polyamines and found that wheat germ is a very high source.

Further research showed that with the right manufacturing facilities, I could create a potent extract of wheat germ, enhancing its benefits.  And, by fermenting it, then additional compounds are created (known as benzoquinones) that are beneficial for our health. 

So then I tried to find a Fermented Wheat Germ Extract / Polyamine / Spermidine supplement to take for personal consumption, and to my surprise, there were only a small handful of options available, at really high prices! 

I’m an entrepreneur, and saw an opportunity here, not only to create a product that I would take, but to create a company around it.  So, that’s the genesis of this company - while this started off as a personal journey, looking for myself, it ended up turning into a business.
